My name is Arturo Mendoza and I am the Marketing Director at DIA Market and DIA Maxi. Here at DIA Group we have kicked off 2018 full of enthusiasm and keen to take on the challenges of the new year. More than ever, we want to be close to our customers and, to this end, we will strive so that both our physical and our online stores offer a wide variety of quality products at the best price, as always.
As sponsors of the Spanish Women’s Basketball League, we have continued to make progress in our collaboration with the Spanish Basketball Federation, and thanks to our digitization drive we have signed an agreement with Twitter to broadcast a League game through this social network every day. Everyone in the company is very proud of spreading the word about this sport and the women who represent it.
We are also very proud of another agreement we have reached. DIA Group and FEBE (the Spanish Liquor Federation) have initiated a pioneering collaboration to prevent underage drinking and we will carry out a number of joint actions to this end throughout 2018.
